TripNeighbor is a social platform designed to connect travelers flying on the same routes.

• We are NOT a Travel Agency: We do not sell flight tickets, modify bookings, or handle baggage. We strictly provide a platform for communication.
• We are NOT an Airline: Any flight schedules shown are for informational purposes only. You must always check with your official airline for the most accurate departure times and gate information.

2. User Safety and "Offline" Interactions

This is a platform for connecting with other travelers. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.

• No Background Checks: TripNeighbor does not conduct criminal background checks or screen its users. The fact that a user is on the platform does not guarantee they are safe.
• Use Your Judgment: We recommend you meet "neighbors" only in public areas (like airport terminals) and share your travel plans with family or friends.
• Release of Liability: By using this service, you agree that TripNeighbor (and its owners/developers) is NOT responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the service. You agree to release us from all liability regarding your interactions with other users.

3. Accuracy of Data

We rely on third-party providers (like Amadeus) for flight data.

• No Guarantee: We do not guarantee that the flight times, gates, or statuses displayed on TripNeighbor are 100% accurate or real-time.
• Your Responsibility: You are responsible for verifying your own flight details with your airline. We are not liable if you miss a flight, connecting transfer, or cab because of information found on our app.

4. User Conduct

To keep this community safe, you agree NOT to:

• Use the service to stalk, harass, abuse, or harm another person.
• Use the service for spam, solicitation, or fraud.
• Scrape or collect email addresses or other contact information of other users for marketing purposes.
• Create fake flight lobbies or impersonate another person.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these terms.

5. User Accounts

• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (Google Auth). You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the sign-up process.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall TripNeighbor, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

• Damages resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the service.
• Any missed flights, travel delays, or lost baggage.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you have paid us, if any, for accessing the service (currently $0).

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by posting the new terms on this site. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
